Some of you already know me, I’m Matias.
They found me on the road in bad shape. I was thin, hairless, my body was covered in lesions, anaemic and full of other ailments. One of these ailments is leishmaniasis. I’ve been treated and recovered. Now I only take a few tablets a month and I can live to the end of my life like this.
Rumour has it that nobody wants to adopt a leishmaniasis-positive dog and that I’ll stay here in the Association’s shelter. I really hope for something else. That someone will look me in the eye and say: come here, my little sweetie ❤️

Matias tested positive for Leishmaniasis, Ehrlichiosis, Anaemia, Leukocytosis, Monocytosis, Neutrophilia and Thrombocytopenia.
