The 5 dogs rescued by Bianca Charity, from the toxic dump of Zambujal, Sesimbra,. Portugal, that are at Asssociação Bianca: Kira, Esmeralda, Kairo, Daddy and Maggie have dirofilaria! The males, when they were castrated, were found with filarias circulating in their bodies. The filarias are installed in the heart and are also found in the blood circulation.
But in these animals they are “loose” in the body.
We did the math and to treat the 5 animals we need €1850.
