News reports described a scenario that’s hard to imagine: about 70 dogs kept by a hoarder, allegedly also used to donate blood to a blood bank. We were able to rescue seven of them.
They arrived thin, starving—some reduced to skin and bones. And despite everything they’d suffered… they welcomed us with gentleness, trust, and affection.
It’s impossible not to wonder: how can beings so mistreated continue to love humans so unconditionally? They say not all of them were rescued from that hell. If that’s true, there are still lives waiting for a chance to be saved.
May justice do its job. And may those who caused them so much suffering be held accountable for their ctions.
In the meantime, we will continue to fight for them. Because they never gave up on believing in people.
