They found me on the side of the road. I was limping, scared, and very afraid of people. When they tried to get close to me, all I wanted to do was run away. I didn’t know if I could trust them… Until they offered me a little bit of pâté. And, I’ll admit… my hunger was stronger than my fear. And I’d never eaten anything so good in my life I finally gave in. And thank goodness I did! I discovered that those hands didn’t want to hurt me. Little by little, my fear faded, and I learned to trust people again. Today I’m a different dog. All I need now is to find someone who’ll look at me and say, “Come here. From now on, this is your home.” I’m not young anymore. My age is starting to weigh on me—yes, it weighs on us dogs, too. And maybe that’s why my dream is so simple: A nice, fluffy bed, a peaceful home, lots of cuddles, and someone by my side to spend—with comfort and love—all the days I have left. ❤️ I’m not looking for great adventures. I’m looking for a family. I’m looking for my place. Is it still not too late for me to find it?
