WHO CAN BE VOLUNTEER?
Anyone can be a volunteer, except those under the age of 16.
Special conditions for children under 18 also apply.
We need as many volunteers as possible, as we have almost 500 animals, many of which need to be socialized and walked.
HOW CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Before becoming a volunteer, a first contact by e-mail is required, in which you must provide some general information about yourself.
Then, an informal interview is required to be conducted at the shelter, and filling out a form.
When you start as a volunteer, you will receive the necessary information to perform the tasks.
IS THERE A MINIMUM OF HOURS I HAVE TO DO?
There is no minimum number of hours to volunteer.
But commitment and dedication is important. No matter how much time you have available to give animals, every minute is important,
there are several ways to help in our shelter and make a big difference in animal welfare.
WHAT TYPE OF TASKS CAN I DO?
There are several tasks that you can perform either in the shelter or outside.
You can help with campaigns to collect goods, in supermarkets, you can be available to take sick animals to the vets, walk animals in the shelter, help clean kennels, etc.
You can foster one or more animals...
I LIVE FAR AWAY FROM THE SHELTER, HOW CAN I HELP EVEN AT DISTANCE?
If you live far and want to help us, you can do it in different ways:
- make monetary donations by paypal or bank transfer;
- ordering necessary food and goods through the supermarket and ordering them to the shelter;
- offer us a gift card at the pharmacy where we order the medicines;
