Lucy was rescued from a situation of abuse, and her current guardian, who was going to operate on her, had a very serious life-changing event (cancer). She gave us the girl with enormous pain and suffering and with her own life hanging in the balance.. Lucy will have to undergo surgery, but we don’t yet know if it will be an amputation or correction. Since she had a dislocated patella as a baby and her paw grew like that, everything indicates that it will be an amputation. Friends, we will need your help as always
