Personality: She arrived when she was a very difficult mother dog with 9 newborn puppies. No one could touch her. Poor dog, she lived so long on the street alone, without care or love.
A volunteer patiently “taught” her to come eat in her garden. Over time, she began to eat more and more inside the garden. When she was used to eating inside the gate, the volunteer put tranquiliser pills in the food so she could eat it and be super relaxed. And so, it was possible to catch Thena with a net and put her in a crate. Then the volunteers went to pick up the other dogs, they alreadu knew where to find.
With time and care from Bianca, Thena has grown into a dog who has begun to trust humans, at least those she already knows. We are happy for her, who is happy in her life at the Bianca shelter. Maybe one day she can have a home. Otherwise, she will live with us and we’ll take care of her for the rest of her life.
