This is Skali and I’m telling you that I’m a different cat from when I arrived here. I came angry, shy and reactive. They caught me in Sesimbra, right in the village, with a trap, and I was so scared that it took me months to come to my senses. Little by little I saw the gestures around me, how people behaved, what they did, and I realised there was no reason to be so afraid. I’m not saying I’m not afraid, because I still am. But I’m ready to be chosen by a family and if they give me time, I’m going to be a very friendly big cat, because I like affection and a good meal! Ah, and I m young, only 1 year old.
