I was walking alone on the street, disoriented and in constant danger of being hit by a car, until Civil Protection rescued me. I didn’t know where to go or what to do. Everything was fearful and uncertain. Now I’m safe, and I’m very grateful for that, but the shelter is a difficult place for me. The environment makes me very nervous and stressed, and I can’t seem to adjust. What I really want is a family, a quiet little place where I can feel safe and, finally, happy. Is there anyone willing to give me that chance?
