Life was very difficult for me and Kyra, my dog companion, at first.
We were both locked up on a balcony, surrounded by trash and baking in the sun.
I had terrible ear infections that went untreated. My pain and discomfort were immense. Fortunately, someone filed a complaint against our former “guardian”—who was anything but a guardian—and we were rescued. I would love to have the family I never had: loving, caring, and loyal 😉 Can I still hold onto that hope?
