I’m Pipa, Pipinha to my friends. I’m a little dog who’s had bad luck. I broke my paw, but my owner didn’t treat it, so my paw remained “stunted” and I walked with it curled up and in pain, sometimes dragging it and hurting my foot… My owner died, and some neighbors fed me. I was alone for a while, and that wasn’t good for me. Until a neighbor contacted the Bianca Animal Shelter.
When I arrived at Bianca Charity, they took an X-ray and decided that the best solution for my well-being was to amputate my paw, because I was dragging it and hurting myself, in addition to the pain I was in. Now I’ve been here at the shelter since February 2025, waiting for a family to “see” me and want to adopt me. Will anyone want me like this? I don’t think anyone wants me, so I’m not going to get my hopes up….
